My name is Qquillaccori García López. I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Economics, University of Copenhagen and part of the Health Economics and Aging Lab (HEAL). I obtained my PhD in Economics in August 2026 at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), where I was affiliated with the Center for Empirical Labor Economics at FAIR.
I hold a M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Mannheim, a B.Sc. in Economics from Rey Juan Carlos University and a B.Sc. in International Relations from the same institution.
My main research interests lie within labor and public economics, with a special focus on social insurance, long-term care, and gender equality.

In my projects, I try to assess how policy design can influence whether social insurance mitigates, reflects or magnifies inequalities that arise earlier in life but have important consequences for individual welfare during old age.
